Whether you arrive on foot or by car, Chris & Pam will welcome you warmly with a cup of tea or coffee, preferably on the terrace (weather permitting) where, often as not, you can watch lots of pheasants feeding.
Breakfast is served around a large gate leg table where you can enjoy freshly squeezed orange juice (Chris reckons that he's now aqueezed in excess of 30,000 oranges by hand), a choice of cereals or porridge,, a hot nixed fruit compote (Pam;s speciality) and/or a cold apple and rasberry one followed by a full English breakfast of your choice. Eggs are laid 200 yds away and as much as possible is sourced within a few miles. Add all the usual things like fresh coffee, a choice of specialist teas and home made marmalade and we hope that you'll be well set up for the day.
We welcome children of seven and older, and have a large video and DVD selection for them to enjoy in the television room, or they can safely wander around the large garden. Well behaved dogs are also welcome.
We have a stretch of fly-fishing on the Wharfe - three minutes away. Camping in the bottom meadow is also available, although guests are advised that facilities are minimal.
Wireless Wi Fi internet access is free.
